The Office - Season 4 NBC (2007)

The Office has acquired my services to create all their graphics in-house as well as create plans and 3D models for their sets. Creating a show set in Scranton, PA and shooting it in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles is not an easy task... but thanks to a great art department and crew we get the job done. Each episode contains signs, banners, graphics, t-shirts as well as set plans and so much more... I am greatful to be a part of such a dynamic creative team.

From the Director of the latest Superman comes a look at the lives of women married to professional football players. Based on the ITV series "Footballers' Wives."

The Golden Oaks Project (2007) - Assistant Art Director

This was a conceptual project for a proposed new backlot for Disney Studios at their Golden Oaks location. I created 19 of 35 city buildings in 3D as well as texturized and modified another 16 city buildings & 7 residential houses. This massive undertaking was accomplished in only 3 weeks...

Diner concept done in SketchUp 6

There are 35 buildings proposed for this backlot town.

The residential area of the proposal includes 17 houses of various styles that would create the most dynamic shooting option in Hollywood.

The Heartbreak Kid (2006) - Assistant Art Director                                                (Art Director credit pending)

This comedy from Dreamworks centers on a man who is convinced that he has finally met the right girl and marries too quickly. While on his honeymoon and in the process of discovering that his new bride is a nightmare, he meets the girl of his dreams. Based on the Neil Simon play.

This film incorporated my 3D skills for the pre-viz stages. I was in charge of 3 sets completely built on beach locations as well as the reconditioning of the Mexican street at the Universal Backlot and a 5,500sq. ft. sporting goods store interior and exterior.

Ben Stiller and Malin Akerman tie the knot too soon in this over the top comedy from the Farrelly Brothers.

Manuel's Cantina was built entirely on location at Malibu's Point Dume cove and set to look like Baja Mexico.

The reconditioning of the Universal Studios Mexican street was extensive to create a lively village festival.

The Grand (2006) - Production Design

An improvisational comedy centered around a handful of actors involved in an actual poker tournament.

Although this film was shot almost entirely on location I needed to create an older run down hotel look for the main character Jack Faro (Woody Harrelson) who enters the contest to save his fathers old casino. We also created two large poker tournament rooms with up to 30 poker tables and more than 250 players. The final tournament was assembled on a theater stage at the Plaza Hotel too create the tense real-time unscripted poker finale that concludes this impromptu film.

The first round of the tournament consisted of 30 tables, 250 chairs and a massive array of graphics both hanging and projected.

"One Eyed" Jack Faro's office has not been changed since his grandfather was in charge... he just added his habbits to the room.
